Pandora lured me into infecting myself with the virus, so she could use me as a vector to spread it to the entire population of Gallifrey, but I refused with all the strength I had, crushing my hands, biting off my tongue and searing my own face off, then I proceeded to hijack a TARDIS and warn the President with only two thoughts in my mind, warning her and not regenerating. All the time, I heard her mocking laugh. It spurred me on, I suppose.

[He is beyond noticing that 'hey, this is the flood!' at this point, it's so emotional and in the flow of things.] If it's enough to get every Time Lord that encountered 'The Broken Man' to feel sorry for him, you can be damned sure it's not something I ever want to inflict on others.

I'm not sure. But interference can be overcome. Either way, it would be a difficult project to accomplish. I'm sure it would take years, that kind of thing always does.

Likely the balance between how useful this tool would be compared to how much time it would take to put together and be accurate would make compiling it completely unfeasible.

[That happens all the time on Gallifrey, so Wynter's response is a mild shrug.] I would hope so, by the implication of what you're saying means that no one is stuck here forever. Even if it's less than convenient right this moment.

It's apparently 'answering direct questions truthfully'. Which, is fine, since I've nothing to lie about, well, nothing anyone here will care about.

It's interesting you would think that, considering how private an inmate's file can be and how openly the Barge likes to shed secrets.

There is a difference between inadvertent secret spilling or having someone, who has every reason to try to gain your trust, have a file on you and being forcibly being laid bare.

No one, Gard or anyone else has told me what their inmates' files contain, nor will I ask.

You may not have to, given the nature of this flood.

No one will make me listen. And besides, if the inmate requests it, I can bury it so deep that I would find it next to, if not impossible to find it again. So I'm not too worried about that.
